He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio in 1989 and pursued postgraduate education with a surgical internship, surgical residency, and a four-year urology residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.

Upon completion of his training, Dr. Ho spent the following five years practicing general urology with a large medical association in Houston. In addition, he accepted a position as volunteer faculty for the nearby University of Texas Medical School. Presently in private practice, Dr. Ho continues his volunteer teaching position at the University of Texas while serving in the same capacity at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Interested in the field of urological research, Dr. Ho has published his findings in the Journal of Urology and presented them at the Southwestern Section of the American Urological Association. Involved in advancing his profession, he maintains active membership in the Texas Medical Association, the Houston Urological Society, and the American Urological Association. He became certified by the American Board of Urology in 1998.
